About This Policy
This policy explains how copyright owners and their authorised representatives can report material on UAE Walkins that they believe infringes their rights. Reports can concern article text, photographs, graphics, recruitment advertisements or other protected material appearing on our website.
UAE Walkins publishes job information using employers’ official websites and official company LinkedIn pages as sources. Checking information against an official source does not, by itself, establish permission to reproduce that source’s wording, images or advertisements.
Original Content and Third-Party Rights
Original editorial material created for UAE Walkins is distinct from material belonging to employers, photographers, designers and other rights holders. Publishing an employer announcement or referring to a company does not transfer its intellectual property rights to us.
We do not claim exclusive copyright over underlying job facts, such as vacancy titles, interview dates or salary figures. Original wording, photographs, graphics and the creative presentation of an announcement can have separate protection. Company names and logos can also involve trademark rights.
Attribution, a source link or an ownership statement does not independently authorise copying. This policy does not grant permission to reuse third-party material.
Sending a Copyright Complaint
Email contact@uaewalkins.com with the subject “Copyright Complaint” followed by the affected page URL.
For an ordinary copyright enquiry, identify the work, provide the UAE Walkins page address, explain your concern and tell us how to contact you. You do not need to submit a sworn notice simply to raise a question.
If you intend your notice to contain the information specified in Section 512(c)(3) of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, include:
- Your physical or electronic signature as the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work. Where one notice covers multiple copyrighted works at a single online site, an appropriate representative list can be provided.
- Identification of the material you want removed or access disabled, with enough information to locate it. Include specific page URLs and identify the relevant text, image or other material.
- Contact information reasonably sufficient to reach you, such as your postal address, telephone number and, if available, email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
A link to the original work can help, but the work does not need to have been published online. We do not require a lawyer, payment, copyright registration certificate, notarisation or court order as a condition of submitting a complaint. Please do not include passports, identity cards or unrelated sensitive documents.
The email address above is our copyright contact. It is not presented here as a registered DMCA designated agent. Including the listed information does not, by itself, establish that a statutory DMCA process applies.
Reviewing Copyright Reports
We review reports against the identified material and the information provided. Where clarification is needed, we can ask for details about the work, your authority to report it or the specific use being challenged.
Appropriate action can include removing the disputed material, disabling access to it or correcting the affected page. A report does not automatically establish infringement, and an editorial decision does not determine legal ownership or settle a dispute between rights holders.
We do not promise a fixed investigation period or automatic permanent deletion following every allegation. Where an applicable DMCA procedure requires expeditious action, that requirement is separate from any ordinary editorial review.
Requesting Review of a Removal
If you believe material was removed because of a mistake, email the same address with its former page URL, an explanation and relevant supporting information, such as permission from the rights holder or an applicable licence.
This is a request to reconsider an editorial decision. It is not presented as a statutory DMCA counter-notification procedure, and it does not promise automatic restoration. Nothing in this process limits any rights or procedures available under applicable law.
Accurate Reports and Personal Information
Submit complaints honestly and distinguish facts you can establish from matters you are asking us to investigate. A complaint being unsuccessful does not, by itself, mean it was dishonest. Do not impersonate a rights holder or knowingly submit materially false information.
The contact details and supporting information you provide are used to assess and respond to your report. Include only information relevant to the complaint. Our Privacy Policy explains the website’s handling of information.
Other Concerns and Contact
An expired vacancy, factual error, privacy concern, impersonation report or trademark complaint does not need to be submitted as a copyright notice. Describe the issue and include the affected page URL so it can be considered on its own basis.
